17 foot lifting keel catboat designed by Charles Wittholz and built by me, launching in May 2009. This is a “character” boat which performs well under sail or outboard power; reaching an easy 6 knots under both. The spacious cabin houses 2 berths, sink, stove and chemical toilet. With a beam of 8 feet the boat is exceptionally stable, and wide side decks allow for safe movement forward for sail handling, mooring and anchoring.
